Double Bass 

Admission requirements of the preliminary studies: Appropriate musicality, knowledge of the bass key, appropriate physical fitness. Modules of the lower level: see curriculum cello Modules of the intermediate level:

Simple basic technical exercises for the left and right hands. Simple lecture pieces in the difficulty level "Old masterpieces for young cellists". Otto Rühm: Issue 1, Easy Etudes, Ludwig Streicher: "My Making Music on the Double Bass", No. 1, Schneikhart: Arrangement of Organ Pieces by J.S. Bach for Double Bass, Issue 1

 

                                                                                          3.u.4. Semester:

 

Lugwig Streicher: "My Making Music with the Double Bass", Book 2, "Old Masters for Young Players" (Cello Literature), O. Sevcik: School of Sheet Music, Issue 1, Beginning, Otto Rühm: Etudes, H.Schneikhart: Arrangement of Organ Works by J.S. Bach for the double bass. Technical exercises and musical performance pieces up to the 2nd high position.

 

                                                                                          5.u.6. Semester:

 

L. Streicher: "My Playing the Double Bass", Vol. 2, repetition. Franz Simandl: Easy Etudes, L. Streicher :: "School for Double Bass", Orchestral Pieces. Lagenstudien by F.Simandl, O. Rühm: Etüden, Issue 1, Wenzel home: "Etüden", E.Madenski: scales and chords decomposition.

 

                                                                                          7.u.8. Semester:

 

Wenzel House: Etüden, Ludwig Streicher: Heft 2. Lagenwechselstudien. F. Simandl: Little Etudes, Findeisen: Lecture and editing studies. Small pieces from cello literature of comparable difficulty. Entrance exam: E. Madenski: Akkordstudien from issue 1, scale studies Lugwig Streicher: Two Studies from Issue 2 Wenzel home: An Etude F. Simandl: An Etude from "Little Etudes" A lecture piece of comparable degree of difficulty (for example Schniekhardt: "From the Organ Works of J.S.
